About Future View Salone

Seeking a Bright Future Through Media and Storytelling

our story
From Local Stage Plays to Global Storytelling

What began as a small drama group in Makeni has grown into one of Sierra Leone’s most respected media and film organisations.

Founded by Mohamed “Tyson” Conteh and a team of passionate young creators, Future View Salone started in the early 2000s using street drama and community theatre to raise awareness on social issues.

Over time, those performances evolved into documentaries, short films, and civic campaigns that reach thousands across Sierra Leone — and beyond.

Today, Future View Salone stands as a bridge between creativity and change, using storytelling to empower youth, promote peace, and amplify the voices of communities too often unheard.

who we are

We are a media and community development organisation that uses film, civic education, and creative storytelling to drive awareness, transformation, and unity in Sierra Leone.

Our team of filmmakers, trainers, and advocates believe that film is more than entertainment — it’s a tool to inspire empathy, challenge mindsets, and build stronger societies.

At Future View, every frame carries purpose.

WHAT WE DO

Empowering Communities
through story

Our Mission

We identify critical issues affecting Sierra Leonean communities and use the power of film to inspire positive change. Through strong partnerships, we create documentaries that raise awareness, spark dialogue, and build hope.

Our Vision

We use media as a bridge for empowerment — informing, educating, and inspiring people toward lasting progress. We envision a generation of young Sierra Leoneans with the creativity, confidence, and skills to tell their stories and transform their communities.
